Release Planning and Re-Entry Services

Our office at 727 Middlefield Road is open to those seeking assistance weekdays from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Service League Program Coordinators assess the needs of individuals through an interview.

For the ex-offender our emergency material assistance, guidance, counseling, referral to other agencies, and employment referral are all designed to give the ex-offender every opportunity to re-enter the community without resorting to illegal activity or antisocial behavior.

2005-2006 SERVICES PROVIDED TO:

• 1,801 Clients received services upon release
  
  
• 2,194 Nights in shelters or motels provided for clients
  
  
• 1,799 Clients received transportation home or to shelter
  
  
• 8, 766 total Emergency services provided to all clients

For the inmates' family our services in coordination with services provided by other agencies ease the burden on the family who suffers because of the loss of income and stability created by the incarceration of a family member, usually the breadwinner.
